Canon Raises Forecast for 2010 SLR Digital Camera Sales, Nikkei Reports

Canon Inc. raised its forecast for 2010 sales of digital single-lens reflex cameras to 5.4 million units from 4.9 million, the Nikkei newspaper reported. The company raised its overall digital camera forecast to 26.4 million units, which would be a 9.5 percent increase from actual sales in 2009, the report said.
